Contest Question for September 10

Jay Ruud Weekly Literature Trivia Contest

Mary Wollstonecraft died on this date in 1797 at the age of 38, 10 days after giving birth to her daughter, who would become the author of Frankenstein.

Wollstonecraft wrote novels, a children’s book, a travel narrative, a history of the French Revolution, and philosophical treatises, and is remembered today chiefly for her Vindication of the Rights of Woman (1792). She had already become famous before that work when in 1790 she published a response to Edmund Burke’s criticism of the French Revolution.

For TRIVIA BRAGGING RIGHTS, what was the title of her response to Burke, which made her famous?
